FN DAY 2021 -1st Data Challenge

We are happy to announce the first Florence Nightingale (FN) Day Data Challenge in 2021. The purpose of this challenge is to encourage the development of statistics and data science skills, to enhance presentation skills, and to promote and develop quantitative literacy in the middle and high school students. This competition provides students with an opportunity to express creativity in the statistical analysis of data.

The competition is open to all students who have registered for FN Day 2021. Students may work individually or in teams of up to five students. Please indicate your intention to participate in a challenge when filling out the registration form. Once your registration is received, the further details (such as accessing the data, submitting your project) will be communicated with you.

All winners will receive a certificate of achievement and will be featured during the FN Day. The first prize winner will also receive a nominal monetary award. The deadline for the project submission is Friday, October 15, 2021.
